Provides free or reduced cell phone and/or land line service to eligible households in Wisconsin. There are a number of national providers for Lifeline including Safelink and Q-Link. Both have service areas in Wisconsin but that does not mean that the cell coverage is very good. It is advised you research HERE for the best provider in your area. Until further notice, clients should go to back door (with their I.D. and) and a volunteer will bring out the groceries. (Amount of groceries will be based on family size.) Fellowship dinners are available Mondays and Wednesday between 5-6 p.m. in the form of takeout. No reservation needed. Bring photo ID for everyone in the household and recent mail (within last 30 days) containing proof of address.

AODA ProgramsWood County Human Services provides AODA (Alcohol & Other Drug Abuse Programs) to individuals residing in Wood County. These services include a Community Based Residential Facility, Day Treatment Programs, Intensive Outpatient Program, Relapse Prevention Group, Dual Diagnosis Group, Underage Diversion Group, and OWI Assessment. If you feel you need help with a drug or alcohol related problem, please contact the Outpatient Clinic Receptionist to setup an appointment. Medicaid is similar to a health insurance program, but with a few exceptions, such as Medicaid Purchase Plan (MAPP), there are no insurance premiums and very few limitations on coverage. This program offers people with disabilities who are working or interested in working the opportunity to buy health coverage.
There are other types of Medicaid (health insurance) determined by eligibility guidelines. Income and asset requirements are based on FPL (federal poverty level) rules. These programs are administered through the Northern Income Maintenance Consortium which includes BadgerCare, Family Planning, Community Waivers, Nursing Home and Elderly-Blind-Disabled medicare programs. You can apply one of three primary ways:
